If you took a walk outside today I would say you have. Especially in the areas of Texas with freezing temperatures. Especially, we all know about how the freeze-thaw cycles effect concrete and when one puts a patching material down it simply does not last a winter season. So what usually happens is a maintenance staff member will apply more of the same material once the weather warms up.
Concrete leveling might look fun and simple; but in reality, it is a task that cannot be taken lightly. In the earlier days, people just had to use ordinary planks and handheld concrete leveling and screening tools to get the job done. While these old school tools can get deliver what you ultimately need, it takes a lot of work to get that surface leveled. And if you get it wrong – for any reason at all – say goodbye to do-overs.
Does your concrete have uneven surfaces and tripping hazards?
